Disclosures

The short version

Nestloom is editorial. Some product links are affiliate links. Our recommendations are picked by our team, never paid for by brands, and never used as a substitute for the safety guidance in your kid's pediatrician's office.

Affiliate links

Some links on Nestloom are affiliate links. If you click through and shop, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. Where this applies on a specific post, you'll see an ‘Affiliate disclosure’ block near the top of the article. We follow the FTC pattern: clear disclosure on the page, not buried in fine print.

Editorial recommendations are picked by our team based on what we'd put in our own kid's room. Brands never pay for placement, and never have editorial review.

Sponsored content

If we ever publish a sponsored post, it carries a ‘Sponsored’ label at the top of the page in matching styling, and the sponsor never has editorial review of the body copy. We currently don't accept sponsored placements, but reserve the right to in the future under this policy.

Product safety

Nestloom is a decor magazine. It is not a safety reference, and it is not medical advice. Where a post discusses crib selection, sleep-product placement, paint VOC ratings, or window-cord safety, we link to the AAP, the CPSC, and the manufacturer documentation as the authoritative sources. Cross-check their current guidance against anything you act on.

If you're looking at a piece that's safety- relevant (crib, bassinet, anchored furniture, mounted shelving, paint near food contact), the manufacturer's instruction manual and the latest CPSC advisory take precedence over any styling we've shown.

Image rights

Many images on Nestloom are AI-generated room renders. They are not photographs of specific real rooms or real children, and shouldn't be presented or shared as if they were. Where we use a brand product photo with permission, the source is noted in the caption.

Don't reproduce Nestloom imagery for commercial use without permission. Pinning to your personal boards is exactly what we want, and the Pin button is right there.

Reporting an issue

If a Nestloom article carries a claim that's wrong, a wrong product attribution, an outdated safety reference, or a tone that worried you, write us at hello@nestloom.co with the article URL and what you saw. Acknowledged within five business days. Edited or pulled where warranted.
